Actually seen a marked improvement in distance, Got a g20 and thinking of changing, but with all this marketing not sure if it all stands up, bit of a short hitter with a slow swing speed so not even sure any change would work.

I've got a Titleist 913 Driver and want to stay with it, I want wait to see what the Mizuno JPX850 will be like or the new Titleist, but I think the Titleist may be some way off.

But with all the TM marketing guff, I'm getting tempted to try something new. It only a tingling at the moment, which, if I don't go to and AG or local golf shops will go away, I hope.

I did Callaways Kings of Distance and they measured me at 30 yards extra with the Big Bertha, luckily I was given a free one and when I tonk it I get that extra for sure

I've tried a few others while having mine in the bag for two full seasons and can say honestly I found nothing better at the moment.

The best being a 910d3, great driver but mainly due to the shaft it had, even flushed shots were not as long as the amp although they had a better flight, plumped for a stronger real shaft on the amp and haven't looked back

I run the amp on stock neutral setting so any wonky shots is due to a wonky swing, I noticed while reading the last GM was that any editorial pics throughout the mag of people using the SLDR all had the draw/fade setting on neutral, if this is the case across staff players and other editorial pros then why is it there.

Like above I'm interested in the jpx850, only because my course is majorly effected by wind and it would be nice to lower the flight on days that it was needed pre round, but I have no issue laying the amp for at least another full season.

Not changed yet but the lure of something new is unbearable especially as my ppi refund arrived today, already ordered my new Vokey SM5's........I need help!!

I've not hit a better driver than my 910, not even really interested to see what else there is out there, not for a good while yet, this one will have to snap in two before I'd go for something else, I've got it set on A2 which means it'll draw more, had previous had it set on B2 which promoted a lower ball flight but changed it up for the summer months, I've got everything I need in this club

I changed this year from a TM R580 to a Nike Covert 2.0 - I have not seen too much in the way of distance gains but some drives are most definitely longer - the biggest difference has been how much more consistent the Nike is - contacts that are not out of the middle are definitely better with little loss of distance or straightness.

I went from a mizzy jpz 800 to a callaway diablo octane and it's been much much better

Mizzy used to balloon massively but the cally just seems to have a much more penetrating flight way lower but still gets up there

Most likely the difference in shafts though

Am considering an SLDR mini but not for a while, I await future reports for some of the guys on here that have them if they're still raving about them in a few months I might treat myself

Changed from a R1 to a 14 Degree SLDR #loftup !

Gained 20 yards distance and tighter dispersion

I've been through many drivers, 3 woods and strong 3's too down the years..
My Big Bertha is becoming the most consistent club off the tee......

Hit some of the latest offerings the other day at an AG tour truck event. Big Bertha alpha gave me an extra 20-30 yards according to flightscope mostly by reducing my backspin.Tempting very tempting.

I keep thinking of changing from my Powerbuilt slugger, even im fed up with the noise!

However 3 of my mates have changed this year from old drivers to new shiny R1 and rbz and they hate them, I know its all mental but theyre straight back using their old Cobra and Callaway drivers.

Putting me off changing, I have been offered a G10 for £20 I may try, but obviously thats not some bit modern thing anyway

Ooops, forgot to add another mate who has struggled for 2 years, has just got hold of a G25 and he is smashing it up the middle everytime, so easy to hit by all accounts

Ahhhh the lure of the yards........

I binned my Driver last year, literally sold it, bought a TM RBZ Stage2 3 & 5 woods, and handicap came down nearly 2 shots.
More fairways hit, more greens reached.......simple.

I see a lot of comments about these new TM 'Mini's' or whatever they are......same principle, use a 3W, or dialled down to a '2 Wood', and hit more fairways fellas........
