Have been tossing around with the idea of changing my irons for a while. Similar reason to Homer in that I want to look down at at thinner top line and have less sole on the club.
Unlike Homer I can't be bothered with the whole custom fit process and decided to go for an older model so have been looking at the Wilson ci11. With the depreciation of clubs being so fast I don't think I could see myself ever going for the latest range of irons again.
So yesterday sitting on Ebay looking at various pieces of golf porn I found some at a good price from a reputable seller and spent about 1/2 an hour weighing it up. With one set left for sale I decided to click the BIN button. Left the mouse hoovering on the commit to buy and spent another few minutes weighing it. Decided to have a drink so set the laptop on the floor. When I came back in I found my dog lying on the floor beside the laptop and the clubs were purchased. He must have stood on the button when getting of the couch.
Now there is every chance I would have got them either way but my dog happily removed my procrastination.
The wife found the whole story a lot less entertaining though.
