Crystal ball time folks... (and thread idea nicked from another forum!) :o

Is Rory going to continue his climb by closing out a few more wins, will Luke hang on for a season, or is someone else going to power through the rankings?

My best guess is that Luke will still be world No 1 at he end of next season, as I have a strong hunch he'll win the Masters. I doubt anyone will stay on top all year though... reckon there will be a few changes at the top.

Anyone care to share their views?

My prediction for top 3 in a year....

1. Luke
2. Rory
3. Dustin Johnson

cant see past Mr Donald based on his exquisite play and course management, does depend how he takes to his new clubs and whether he goes MP59 or MP69 or stays MP62

I think....

1) Luuuuke
2) Kaymer
3) Westwood

9) Woods

It is an exciting time for golf with the amount of really good young players coming throught the ranks. In all seriousness I kinda expect Luke to hold on for amlittle while unless he changes kit then I think it is open to a whole host of players. I would like to see Rory get it but I think he is still a bit too young to handle that and everything that goes with it.

Rory #1 this time next year and he'll win the masters. His game and ball shape are perfect for augusta.... its only a matter of time.
Luke #2 and will be hard to shift.
#3#4#5 whoever wants it most.... but I think its between westy, kaymer and hmmm i'm going to say Day also.

No where's the bookies number?? :)

Luke Donald would be my pick

Westwood I think has had his time and I think he will struggle to be in the top 5, Garcia I think will be a strong force next year and could work his way into the top 5.

I reckon the dust has settled and Tiger could be back next year. A few things have to happen before he gets there though.

1 - He has to ditch Sean Foley, it just aint happening.
2 - He has to get himself back to Vegas and blow off some steam, he is now single and has to do what comes natural to him.

Although I hope Kaymer gets back to number 1 and the resurgent Sergio makes a real charge to get back in the top 10 too.

The way the points are standing at the moment and it being a 2 year average I was more wondering how long it would take Luke _not_ playing for before he dropped off the number 1 spot. I reckon he could be up there for another 6 months without lifting a finger!!

Another vote for Luke here - so consistent and I am hoping he can add the first Major to the list also.

Then its a real tough call but for me Kaymer is going to leapfrog Rory and Lee to get to No.2

Really hoping Lee stays in there and keeps at least 3rd. For me if I had to choose who I would like there it would be Westwood every time.

1. Luuuuke
2. Kaymer
3. Westwood

73rd - Woods

More chance of him being in position 69
