If both players have the same gross score on the back nine, then i would have thought the higher handicap player would win. I assume fractions are taken into account. Player a had a net 35.5 and player b a net 35.

Player B wins for having a net 35 back 9 whilst player a had a net 36

Player b, as player a doesn't get a shot on SI 16. As above.

I thought you'd work on gross scores in a medal countback rather than apply your handicap to individual holes.

Player B definitely wins the countback because of the extra shot he received, unless it was a gross prize where A would win on back 6

I thought you'd work on gross scores in a medal countback rather than apply your handicap to individual holes.

If you did that then,say, a 2 handicapper would always win over say an 18 handicapper so it wouldn't (hardly ever) give a result to the higher handicap player
