Who is your golfer of the year 2015....and why ?

Firstly, I have not made my mind up yet, but very keen to hear the views and opinions out there.

For me its an obvious straight shot between Speith and Day.

Speith for his early season dominance and success in the Majors.

Day for his Major's consistency, his battle at CB, his USPGA success and end of season dominance.

It is hard not to give it to a golfer who has won two Majors, was 2nd in another and T4 in the fourth

However if Day wins the Fedex, it could swing it his way...

Thoughts ?

Got to be Spieth. Won 2 majors, Top 5 in the other 2 plus wins at the Valspar and John Deere. Day might have finished strongly, but if Jordan doesn't win Player of the Year after the year he's had it's a joke.

As has been said, 2 Majors plus the finishes in the other 2 plus his finishes in other big events..
Day's had a great year but on balance I think Spieth's is better...

Day for me, the year of Spieth (and it was exceptional) has been halted in its tracks and Day is now world number 1 and playing superbly, not to mention the Vertigo at Chambers Bay whilst in contention and he's battled back from that.

Also, I don't like Spieth so that may or may not affect my judgement!

Jason Day for me.

Spieth pretty much burst on to the scene and was invincible for the early part of the season. But Day has had his share of disappointment in the last couple of years but come through all that to finally win a major he so clearly deserves as well as making it to the No 1 spot. Another nice guy too.
