Players still playing please, not legends of old.

My favourite, currently it would have to be Lee Westwood. I think that he is having a great year, he seems a great guy and his game is in good shape at the moment. I can see Westwood doing great things as the season progresses and making a big impact at the Ryder Cup. Oh, and he is English and of course I have no bias for Englishmen whatsoever.

My least favourite, It is a tie between Tiger Woods an John Daly. Tiger because he is so good it makes watching golf as a spectacle almost boring of late (excluding CA later) what with his current dominance. John Daly becuase he is nothing but a red-neck hick who is a disgrace to the sport of golf. Everytime he opens his mouth (apart from to shove a burger in) he talks crap. His Golf World interview showed just how much of a prat he really is. I think the sponsors who pay him to attend are equally moronic.

My favourites are probably not always the best players, but chaps who I enjoy watching and come over a decent guys.
Harrington, definitely, Rose, maybe (he's confident, but not in-you-face arrogant) Lee, of course, McGinley, Casey etc. I don't really have a feel for many US players.

Most favourite would have to be either Paul Casey as an Englishman because he's such a genuinely nice guy, or Ernie Els from the internatonal contingent because he makes the game look so easy.

Least favourite is harder, as nobody really sticks out as an anoying figure head in golf. If I had to say one though it would be JB Holmes because of his frustratingly slow play.

Favorite players would be Darren Clarke, he is there for the golf first, money, popularity etc second. Westwood is a close second as he is from the same cast as Clarkey.
Players I cant stand, let me think.. corey pavin, hes just charlie chaplin in disguise. One other player who needs to be taken down a peg or two is Ian Poulter, if he could get his feet back on the ground. Monty and Rory need a kick up the arse, I think their private lives are ruling their professional careers.

As you all know my fave is Sergio, you either love or hate him.

Rory Sabbatini is my least or Poulter they are just idiots on and off the course.

Least favourites Poulter and Villegas - don't like brash and showy fashion victims unless they can back it up on the course - neither of these 2 can. Agree with HTL on Sabbatini - has the kind of face you want someone to slap with a fish, too gobby as well.

I haven't got any particular favourite player, admire Goosen - he has the temperament I wish I had. Woods is annoyingly good.

Favourite;

Tiger woods
Adam Scott

Because of there talent and the way they conduct themselves on and off the course, i see them as good role models!

least favourite?

not sure , no one really pisses me off, i think poulters a bit of a div other than that not too fussed!

Favourite,
Goosen seems like a good guy, always interviews well and is getting some form back at last, or Luke Donald, who seems to have an old head on young shoulders and he can play a bit too.

Least Fav
Sabatini, Just don't like him at all.

I like to many to list but my fav at the moment is big VJ he just goes about it and loves his golf. I would of liked to see him force a play off today but it didn't happen.

Many years ago when VJ was a young pro trying to make it on the european tour, he based himself in Edinburgh for a while. He practiced at Bruntsfield Links Golf Club by day and worked the door on some of the city's night clubs at night. Now who would argue with someone as physically formidable as VJ ?

He's done alright for himself since then.

I like different players for different reasons.

My favourite is Garcia for his passion and spirit(particularly in the Ryder Cup)

I also like Clarke(all round good guy), Olazabal(for the same reason as Garcia), McGinley(Fellow Celtic fan).

I dislike Montgomerie(ill mannered @rsehole), Singh(cheat), Poulter(thinks he's the dog's b0llocks)

Favourite: Lee Westwood. Not only is he having a great time in his career at the moment and when on form hits sublime iron shots but is a thoroughly nice guy. I was doing a charity auction a few years back and managed to find his home address. I wrote an on spec letter explaining what I was raising money for and got a signed shirt and picture within days. Top fella

On the USPGA has to be Boo Weekly. A guy who calls a spade a spade and knows that there is more to golf and that life is for having fun

Least favourite: Not a huge fan of Kaymer despite how well he is playing. Find him devoid of personality when interviewed very much in the old Langer mould. Very basic answers to questions with no personality shining through.

From the USPGA got to agree about JB and his oh so slow play.

Need to add Boo Weekly to my favourites list! Gotta agree with Homer, What a guy! Here the story about him going through customs with bullets in his golf bag?!?!?!

Boo is top drawer, only playing golf to make enough money to buy a Farm! Gotta love him.

Also in silk knickers drawer, The Goose (smashing bloke), Woods(a god),Pavin (also nice nice man),Coltart(top bloke),Woosnam.

Dirty washing pile, John D(oh please to**er),JBH(life is too short),Sabbatini(could punch him all day).

Homer, i think we can all learn from lee when he was going through his bad spell he stuck with the same clubs and is still using them yet, i think we should all take something from that, its never the clubs that are wrong when you are going through a bad spell.

Love the way Nicolas Fasth approaches the game and like the way he quietly goes about his business. Stenson and Harrington as well, all quiet guys who just get on with it.

Poulter just comes across as a tit and never ever liked Rodger Chapamn, dont know why just didnt like him!!!!

Favs Tiger,Sergio,Lyle still,Westy,Stenson,Donald to name a few.Seve when he ruffled a few feathers in his hey day also.

Dislike with a passion Di Marco,Plastic Phil,Sabatini and never liked Faldo much personality wise and find his commentating pretty mundane to say the least.
