when a new post is up on the forum board who's opinion are you waiting to here from? who do you find yourself agreeing with most? who do you generally think knows what there talking about!!! Is it madandra?,leftie?,medway jon?, rgs?,htl? MIKE H????
I wont ask who do you think talks the most rubbish because we are golfers and we like to stay positive at all times to ensure birdies and pars are on the score card!!

No-one talks rubbish and everyone has an opinion....personaly I listen to the experienced players and those "in the know" on equipment matters. (these guys know who they are and that I rate their opinion).

Since there are one or two members who are genuinely good (under 5/6-ish) but who seemingly don't ever offer advice/tips, those are the only ones I ignore.

I didnt mean it as if people do talk rubbish i agree opinions are all valid (apart from birdie man because custom fitting rules!!!!!!! ) Seriously only joking!! birdieman knows the deal. wouldnt mind hooking up for a game with him! but without the hooking!

I will end up with splinters in my khyber after this but I think that each individual brings a different quality to the forum.

There are a couple of guys on here who seem great at blowing their own trumpets without bringing anything to the party i.e advice. I think Dave, that we are working on the same lines here.

How about your view MVP, interesting post btw.

I would echo realgolferuk's comments the biggest plus point about this forum is that there is such a variety of views out there and no-one seems to mind too much when someone posts a warts and all answer. Compared to some other forums I frequent (not just golf) the users hear are far friendlier in their responses than on other forums. We can all throw our little bit into the meltingpot and not be afraid of the outcome. Long may that continue.

As to favourites, well if I have to.........................

I haven't been a forum member for long but, from what I have seen so far on this site, your posting has said it all. It almost bought a tear to this old cynic's eye.

I think that even those who rant on a bit are softies at heart and do so with at least a small part of their tongue in their cheek.
