As Tiger appears to be on the downward slope, who would you now consider to be the biggest draw, the man who gets the punters through the gate or switching on their TV?

What about Bubba? Bit marmite but you just never quite know what he is going to do next but it is usually pretty spectacular.

If he happens to be playing I'd still say Theres more media attention and focus on Tiger Woods than any other player.

Tiger aside, I'd say Speith.

You can get a decent indicator from the way Sky move their coverage to follow the star group for all 18 holes.

Using that as the barometer- Rory, Rickie and Jordan

For me though, as much as sky and magazines are biggin up Rory,Jordan,Ricky etc there are half a dozen plus other golfers who are doing the business from Australia South Africa, and other places. They are getting results at the moment whilst big name golfers are going home with no silverware, but a following.

I am all for that, makes it interesting.

I agree Tiger is still a big draw but when will we see him on a course again? Possibly never as he seems to keep breaking down every time he promises a return. Plus he is struggling to make cuts when he does play.

My question really is going forward, who are the attractions now?

Tiger Woods is still the biggest draw.

13k retweets on hitting a wedge into a screen is proof of that - no other golfer gets 5k on anything.

Outside of that, it's Rory, followed by Rickie, Phil and Jordan (all pretty equal).

Tiger was the biggest thing, just as Frank Sinatra was in music or Richard Burton in the cinema, stars get older people move on.

I completely agree with your point, but Tiger isn't at that stage yet. You just have to look at social media, golf media, PGA Tour coverage etc to see he clearly remains the biggest draw, rightly or wrongly. If not, then who is, and based on what?

Luckily, golf does now look in great shape for when the time does coem with the youngsters coming through such as Rory, Rickie, Jordan and a whole host of very good tour pros under 27.

Speith and Mcilroy, with Speith being the bigger draw IMHO.

You only have to watch some of the coverage on the PGA. When Speith plays he gets considerable amount of airtime.

Not to the level Tiger achieved, but he does get proportionally more then some others.

I would suggest that he probably is, I doubt that even he believes that if he makes yet another comeback he will be able to compete with todays youngsters, he's old enough to be Jordans dad and injury has taken its toll. It will be a shame to see him hacking it around trying to make cuts in workaday tournaments.

I like Jordan Spieth and Rory, but I can see why youngsters follow Rickie Fowler.
