Something ive always thought about doing.Dont think there is too many places in Scotland that do it? Taylormade centre @ turnberry? St Andrews? Any others.I would like to try a selection of putters odyssey taylormade etc.

Who has had a fitting done and what did they alter??
Loft?lie? Etc

I have had one. We looked at what head shape suited my eye and what head weight suited my stroke. Then I went off to play around with a few in that style. Then adjusted for lie angle and length. Mine was through an ongoing conversation with my coach rather than a dedicated time slot. When I'm zoned in I lag really well and can't miss from six feet :)

Yes had one with my coach, tied up with working on my putting technique. He uses "Zenio" I think for stats. End result was my Odyssey half mallet not ideal for my arc stroke, and a heel/toe weighted better but we worked on technique to try to make it fit. Eventually I went for a full Ping fitting with him and tried a number of blade heel/toe putters to find the one I liked the most. I was then set up for length (I think 32") plus an extra degree of loft - again from memory I think that's right!!

I love my putter and have never ever doubted it being right for me. It's the person holding it at fault if it goes wrong!

Yep, just had one and a SAM reading, and a recommendation to extend my putter from 34" to 35.75" (which I've done) to get into a better posture biomechanically. Looking to see how it goes in tomorrow's comp.

There's a fitting centre in Finnieston Glasgow, it's had some good reviews on here , including Virtuocity's putter fitting.

Cheers for replies. I forward press a tad. Not intentionally. Never noticed it until it got pointed out to me. Would like a fit to see if i would need a bit of loft to get a better roll. Usually struggle with my lag putts

So do I, and it works
never had a fitting though, scotty's just seem to work for me. :D

Been there and done it thanks to GM forum and PING. They messed about with lie angle and loft until they had the ball rolling as close to perfect as possible.

Anyone that had played with me before and after the fitting saw a massive provement, probably in the range of 3-4 shots a round.

I had a SAM session that then gave me the information to go and choose the putter that I then knew should work best for me.

(Std lie, 34", max toe flow, -1* on loft)

Now got putter so we'll se how it goes.
