Haven't stopped shivering in 4 days, hardly eaten a thing, certainly not had any alcohol and missed most of Christmas with the kids. To top it off all I keep seeing on TV are adverts for cold remedies. Well, I outta sue them for mis-representation!!

I feel robbed.

I've felt like crap since Thursday, freezing one minute and sweating the next, really bad cough and sore throat and aching all over.

Picked at my Xmas dinner and even passed on a second helping of pudding and the crackers and cheese...unheard of.

Cracked open the really nice bottle of single malt that I got for Xmas and had 3 or 4 really large ones.

Feel much better today.

Not that great a Christmas. Familly playing up (hers), wife ill, might be going down with the lurgy myslf.

Not one to remember.

Spare a thought for my missus. She got this cold/flu going around, as has our 3 week old son, and she's up most of the night having to feed him!!!

Add me to the list of "manflu" sufferers. Wife suffering with a tooth problem as well. Lovely dinner yesterday and today but it tasted like cardboard

I'm still feeling the effects of a heavy cold, as is The Boy, HID, FIL and MIL. So we're a right healthy bunch.

Nope I'm fit and well apart from a self induced hangover on Christmas morning (never thought I'd type that word again). Sorry to hear so many tales of woe though.

Managed to get rid of my hacking bronchitis cough after 2 weeks 3 days ago just in time to indulge, my sympathies to those still suffering

Well, our 11 year old daughter has been very weak since the beginning of November, and can hardly walk on her own (been in hospital for a while); and today was in a state with herself & whacked me in the head with a placemat. I thought she had broken my glasses, but just got a big gash on the top of my nose!

Also, as mentioned on another thread, my Dad is trying his best to starve himself to death in (psychiatric)hospital, and is just being kept going by an occasional supplement drink, and is in danger of losing his kidneys through his actions.

I've got a nasty cough which is keeing me awake all night. It's now turning into something worse as I feel like someones kicked ten bells out of my ribs and back every time I breathe.

Feel like cr@p and just know theres gonna be no sleep tonight again

Just getting over the flu after a fortnight. My eldest was out sledging today and found out that head first into a wire fence at high speed is not recommended. Stitches to his nose and lip and a slight concussion have only added to the embarassment.

Worse still he's missed his first festive party tonight !!
