I dont understand why people say this. He doesnt hit a high percentage of fairways, and he isnt particularly long off the tee. What is the reason?

Driving - the cop that got Rory to the Ryder Cup on time!!
Irons - Rose, on his day.
Putting - tricky one, Scott is a demon but can't pick him because of the putter. Snedeker (spelling?)
Chipping - Big Phill
Bunkers - Not sure again,on his day it would be Donaldson
Nicest swing - Raphael Jaquelin, effortless and smooth as silk.

I can play all the shots. Just not in the right order.
Driving - in terms of consistency I'd go for Westwood
Long irons - Rose has to be up there. In his pomp I'd have said Woods too but he is too erratic these days
Putting - tricky as a lot of players tend to be streaky. Again in his day, Woods was the best holer out under pressure I've seen. These days I don't think there is a stand out putter

I think he has a good combination of distance without sacrificing accuracy, he might not be top of the stats on a given year but he is consistent and as others have said rarely has a wild one and misses are usually first or second cut
