It's fine. I've played there a lot over the last few years but not this year as I've decamped.
if you search through the forum you'll see a few posts where I've mentioned various things about it.
it's main claim to fame is that rickg was once vice captain (though it doesn't get mentioned on the web site...).
Best time to play is a lovely summer evening - It's really quiet, the wind (which can get strong as it's quite high up on the chalky ridges thereabouts) has died down, and the views are lovely.
Don't bring a slice for the first few holes....
There is a range with covered bays and a decent grass area.
One last thing, although it is generally an unstuffy and friendly place, the owner is obsessed about the wearing of white socks with shorts......
