Looking at getting a swing analyser but which one?
There's two im looking at, the zepp brand one and the sky pro I think its called. Just wandered what people thought was the better one for the price.

I've been looking to get one too. Narrowed it down to Skypro, Swingbyte 2, swing smart and 3bays GSA. Skypro would be my first choice as for me it gives the best data.

I'm not a fan of the zepp as it attaches to the glove, it's lacking in information for me.

I've owned the gsa 3bays and used the sky pro, imho the sky pro is better at analysing the swing and gives audio tones when your doing something wrong , for example getting over the top etc.

I sold my 3bays after a couple of weeks of owning, looking for sky pro

The problem with the Swingbyte is that it moves around the shaft after each impact & you have to keep resetting it. Also, the weight of it, because it's so far down the shaft, can be felt. I'm thinking of selling mine & getting a gsa instead, although I can understand why the Swingbyte could be more accurate, being nearer the clubhead than the gsa.

I had the gsa and sold it to get a skypro.

I really like that they don't give you information that they aren't happy is very accurate because shafts flex in different amounts through the business part of the swing.

I very rarely analyse individual swings now. Either after you've used one for a while, or had lessons, you know what you need to work on and there are two ways to do that.

1. You pick one of the parameters the device measures and give it the range of numbers you're trying to be within. For example my backswing can get past parallel, so I tell it I want to be from 25 deg short to 5 deg short of parallel, then swing away. The app tells you if you were within range or not without having to look, either with a noise, or vibration.

2. You can choose any 3 parameters to show on screen in big numbers like a basic GPS that shows front middle back. They permanently stay on the screen and change after a swing. Even with my dodgy eyes it's easy enough to see if I leave my phone on the floor next to the basket of balls.

Instant feedback without having to pick my phone up, which allows me to swing away without breaking concentration on the feelings in my swing.

The app also automatically uploads the swing info to the clubsg website you can go over your sessions on a pc later. Below is a screenshot of the website. The columns are what I was working on but you can choose which stats to include on screen.

I have SWINGSMART and it pretty good. It doesn't move around on the shaft much, gives me the required info I need shaft lean, AOA, club path, face path, club speed, but I've just got the ES14 launch monitor so I can combine the 2 to give me all the info I want.
