Which Spikes?

Hi Guys - and gals

Am new to the board but felt i should join in the fun.

Quick question - which soft spikes do you think are the best? Recently bought some new shoes with Champ Q-LOK cleats. The spikes arent great and have already lost two. Which ones should I get instead?

Are you referring to the champ stinger cleats? They are held in high regard my many golfers so I am surprised that you are disappointed with them. But it's your opinion that matters so if you don't get on with them give the blackwidow spikes a go. I have these in one pair of my shoes and they are great in my opinion but I have the stingers in my other pair and get on well with them also so it's just an idea.

Yes it is the stinger cleats. Never used them before just dont seem to suit my swing! Will try the Black widow ones.

I have got stingers in 2 pairs of shoes, and black widows in the other 4 pairs. Personally I prefer the black widows, they give better grip, and appear to last longer.

Both are useless with wet grass cuttings.
