I'm in the market for a new putter. Narrowed it down to either iWi ping craz-E or the Sabretooth.

Anyone any opinions on which?

I like the look of both and the both have had good reviews.

Cheers

Whichever you choose, try and get custom fitted for it.
There are lots of people out there using putters which are too long for them.
And make room for it in the garage.....just in case :)

The Sabertooth is an absolutely fantastic putter, it has completely & utterly changed my game on the greens and I even got a comment off vig when playing last week that "I dont miss much from inside 6ft"....which for me is a huge lift as my putting used to be the one side of my game that really let me down.

Well worth every penny IMHO.

I like the sabretooth but positively love the 2009 incarnation the XG teron. It has a similar shape with distinctive wings but is a lovely feeling club. That said I tried a 2nd hand sabretooth midweek and couldn't miss from 4 foot so I might see if I can do a deal

I agree.

There are almost no off the shelf putters that are correct for any given player i.m.o. - why make putting harder than it needs to be with a bad fitting putter?

i had thought of buying the sabertooth also but fell for the taylormade itsy bitsy.....its after taking me close to 10 rounds to master it but im finally getting some consistency .....i preferred this to the saber as the roll of the ball looked better off the taylormade for some reason...

I am one of the few who could not get on with the Sabretooth. Loved the look of it but just could not get the ball in the hole with it. Taylormade Fontana for me, 7 months in the bag and getting better every week, lovely soft feel and great roll from the grooved insert

I like Ping putters personally, used them since I bought my first Anser about 16 years ago. I swapped that a couple of years back for a Craz-E. I like the Craz-E because it was heavier than the Anser. I've been looking at replacing it with a new putter recently. I like the more traditional shape of the Anser and co, the iwi system allows me to have a heavier version. Tried a few out in the shops, and got on really well with the Ping -iwi D60

2 months ago bought the Ping piper I series in 33", yesterday acouple of lads had a go with it and wanted to buy it off me.

Great putter sits lovely on the ground.
