for me:

mickleson's short game
kaymers putting
dustin johnsons distance but westwoods accuracy driving
rory mciroys iron play
tiger woods mental game
ryan palmers dress style

done. lets win the masters! :D

Is Mickelsons short game actually THAT good??

Yes he has the fancy shots but all round is it really as good as the hype would have you believe it is?

For me it aint as special as say Luuuuuuuuke's, Stricker's or Schwartzels.

That said I would take anyone of these fellas shortgame but the rest of mine is doing okay.

I think I'd quite like to be Kaymer at the moment. Not too much wrong with his game and it'll only get better

I agree Homer kaymer would be a good game to have but i dont think he will get any better in the sense that he is a steady golfer but not an exciting player. Yes he will win a lot but i dont think he will be as exciting as Tiger/McIlroy Etc.

Dodger, I think it was the best but as you say not any more, particularly 6-4ft putts which he seems to manage to miss quite a few of.

From the archives

Nicklaus's driving (and course management)
Faldo's irons
Seve's short game (and passion)
Langer's coolness
Woosie's competitiveness
Watson's dignity

Should get me a few majors :D

Think I'd happily swap being an exciting player for a multi major winner. It didn't do Faldo, Nicklaus and Watson much harm letting their golf do the talking. Any surprise that others like Steve Davis, Mansell, Borg etc are from the same mould

so long as it's not restricted to current players

Moe Norman off the tee
Luke Donald's irons
Ollie's short game
Tiger's putting

and for those moments - Seve

Mcilroys irons
anyone driving, mine has never been worse
Kaymers putting
I'll keep my own short game, it's blinkin ace at the moment (sorry, still on a high from chipping in for a birdie at Hoylake today)

Agree with some of the above, but mid irons would have to be Johnny Miller circa 1972-1976. He seemed to split the flagstick ever time. Will let you have Faldo for longer irons, especially 2/3 iron, although Sandy Lyle hit them just as well and twice as far !

Trevino for creativity/imagination,fantastic array of shots, especially on links courses. Also a fantastic hustler with all the chat. Just ask Jacklin.

Sand play would have to be Gary Player, and not a bad putter as well.
