If you could go on a 2 week golf trip and the weather was GUARANTEED to be perfect which country would you go to?..... and to any course in particular, or several?

Sweden for me have been with work but never golfed, would love to play Barseback and Falstebro in Malmo then move to Stockholm to play Kunsgagen and Bro Hof Slott then of to Helsingborg then finish of in Halmstad

France or The Netherlands for me. France has some brilliant courses around Paris and on the Normandy coast. The Netherlands has awesome links courses too which I would love to play.

Portugal, the Algarve. The only problem being the weather in the height of summer - too hot. For all year golf, somewhere around Le Touquet or Hardelot in northern France.

Switzerland - specifically Crans.

I don't think that the golf course is particularly good - but the location would make up for that in spades.

I've been v lucky over the years and played quite a bit in the usual suspects in the European hot spots but some of those Italian courses look just fantastic (Biella ?) and of course if the weather is guaranteed then Ireland and the hundreds of fab courses ( Ballybunion etc etc ) over there.

Another vote for Sweden here! The courses in Spain (less than 3 weeks to go!!!!) and Portugal are superb and well worth a visit only problem being the overcrowding. Plan to play a couple of courses in Poland in the next couple of years too!

Ireland would be my first choice, and a tour of the brilliant links courses they have over there. Next would be Bulgaria - read some really good things about their courses, particularly Thracian Cliffs. After that, Turkey.

Id love to play Crans ..... However, id head over to Sotogrande in Spain every time. A number of great courses all within a stones throw of each other!!

Exactly the same for me.

Todtnau/Feldberg area in the Black Forest, Germany.
Been going every winter for years, simply love the place.
Since taking up golf last year, i'd love to go back when the snows gone, and try some of the golf courses.
Stunning scenery, great food, friendly locals and spas and pampering for the good lady, should be an easy sell right ?
Next year.

Southern Ireland, without a doubt.
I think second on the list would be Iceland as the weather is guaranteed.

Slime.

Same for me also

A quick Google image search for "Austrian Alps Golf" shows the reason why. Absolutely stunning.

2 Ltr pints of beer in the club house and a massive selection of dead pig products for your on course snack is just an added bonus.

In my head the caddies all resemble Fraulein maids to boot.

Ireland please, Just give me some dry conditions to play some parkland and some links. Mount Juliet owes me a favour after last time and Old head at Kinsale on a calm dry day yes please!
