Maybe I should post this is the ask the experts section :mad:

Playing for the first time today in what feels like weeks and I'm entering the stableford so could be an interesting day.
Anyone want to start a book on how many points I score? I reckon the smart money will be on something like 26 ;)

I always say I should play less often more often

Comp runner up with 37 and quotes of the ilk of "I just dont know where it cam from"

40 points. 1 lost ball.

Would have ben better if you kept it simple, but you got hung up on where your VSP was and a slightly negative AoA held you back. ;)
 
If I can sort out my AoA and get rid of the EE which should stop me flipping my hands, I could be on for a good score today :thup:
 
I've no idea who you are, or what you HC, or what standard you've played to, but I'll go with 24 points, 2 blobs, a lost ball, 6 broken tees and a lot of swearing :D

3) I'll take 24 points
4) Could be a lot worse than 2 blobs
5) Well stocked up on balls so no problem with losing one
6) 6 broken tees!!!! Do you know how much those bad boys cost?!?!? I've been known to go back to a tee box after my round to look for a lost tee :o
7) Swearing? What is this swearing thing you talk of?
 
Well......... I think I have discovered the secret. Play less, play better!!

37 points with 1 blob, no 3 putts, no lost balls, no broken tee pegs, no swearing. CSS closed at 35 points so a 0.4 cut to look forward to. Played absolute crap all year then had cuts in my last 2 competitions :)

Well done Gordon.. It's the extra 4 deg that makes all the difference! 'Or' was it inches, don't know now - confused.com :confused:

I was going to predict 38 points, but lost t'internet for a few hours!

Just relaxed and didn't think specific swing thoughts?

Apart from aim right with the Driver and left with the irons of course! :whistle:
