Not sure what to buy... I bought the new Taylor made 18 degree but I'm not getting on well with it at all so sticking it on ebay. I play with driver and 15 degree 3 wood and I can hit a decent 4 iron so not looking to replace that. The 18 degree hybrid on the rare occasion that I hit it well seemed quite long, would prefer slightly shorter for the more common 200 - 210 yard par 3 range.

Is 21 degree the right choice or is that too close to my 4 iron? I usually consistently hit my 4 about 190.

Current HC 11.5

Have a look on the Mizuno website, MP Hi Fli. The on i have looks like the MP 60 and the newer on is more like the MP58 to look at.

I've had exactly the same issues with my Hybrid.I got a 19* to replace my 2 iron, but find it hits the ball about 15 yards further.
I've now adjusted the loft to 20*,only trouble is this close's the face,so maybe it'll now be going the same distance as my 2 iron, but 15 yards further LEFT !! lol

GM Posted this as a guideline for hybrids/irons/woods comparisons

14-16* - 3w - 1iron
17-19* - 5w - 2iron
20-21* - 7w - 3iron
22-24* - 9w - 4iron
25-27* - 11w - 5iron

Its strange though as my hybrid is 20* and isnt alot longer than my 5 iron

I know it sounds like a lot of loft but I find that my 25deg Hybrid gives me the most options and with the shorter shaft is dead easy to hit. Distance/height options through adjusting the ball position and at longest hits about 5i distance.
