Which course would you head to?

Morning all

My Mrs bought me the "open fairways" membership as a birthday present (she didn't know I'd joined a golf club that week - d'oh). Anyway, 2 of my normal playing partners are getting on a bit and I'd like to take them somewhere a little "easier" than my home course - you know, somewhere a little more forgiving.

I've created a poll of the courses near us on the deal, which would you choose and why?

Not played Crowborough or Dewlands but depends on what you mean by easy- I've voted for Lingfield because it was easier walking than the other 2.
They are all good courses though IMHO

By easy I mean quite open, not many water hazards/ditches - not worried about it being flat but a "forgiving" course.


EDIT I played lingfield last year and as a 24 handicapper went round in 87, loved that course.

I presume the Ashdown Forest one is the West course. I would go for that or Lingfield Par as my choices
