Which brands hybrids stay relatively low?

Hi,

Quick question - I have got a Callaway Fusion hybrid with 18 degrees loft and it keeps the ball relatively low when hit. I am going to try and find another with a loft of 21 degrees to add to this. If my mate's shop doesn't have one of these, can anyone help me by telling me which other hybrids promote a low ball flight.

Titleist?

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Snelly.

I think that the shaft might have more impact on the ball flight rather than the brand - cant you look for something with the same shaft as your 18* ?

^what he said. That said, it may be that you need something with low spin to stop the ball getting up and the head can promote a lower spin. Yes try Titleist.

I could do yes. The shaft just says Fujikura Hybrid stiff. Not sure if this is common across many other brands?

Mizuno mp clk hybrid. Very powerful club and doesnt " float " the ball the way other hybrids do. Think its a fubuki stiff shaft.

A 20* may well end up in my bag soon enough.

Same as Homer for me......i15 with standard stiff shaft.....And i use mine alot
But the great thing is that if i move the ball position just a little i can get it as high as i want too.

From my limited experience, i've found that the Adams A3 hybrids had a very low trajectory. I thought it was just me but i noticed a guy at my club had a couple in his bag & when i asked him about them, he said that his clubs had been stolen & that his insurance had sent him to Direct Golf where they pushed him into Adams clubs. Without prompting he mentioned the lower ball flight. I guess with Adams being an American company, lower ball flight + roll on dry course - no prob. Not so good here unless you are mighty long. We get maybe 3 or 4 weeks of good roll??
