As per title - where is the best place to get some B330s 2nd hand balls?
Befor you Ebayers start -Ebay is a pain in the a3rse as you always get pipped at the post - or have to pay £1 a ball in the buy it now's.

Thanks.

try aforedable golf. I use them for my pearl grade Titleist and service is great. Never missed a delivery and always ready to help

Get Snipe from Mozilla Firefox. This will allow you to be the final bidder in any eBay auction.

If you don't mind the odd craptastic looking ball there's an, ahem, eBay listing here you may like?

Apart from that try finding one of those little sh!ts that scoop up balls from courses and try to flog them back to you. :D

I've lost all faith in used balls as some of them are refurbs and are nothing like the real McCoy.
In fact even when you are buying boxed pro v's you need to be careful, I know of a proshop selling cheapish new pro v's my brother showed me one of them after a couple of hits, the paint was peeling and the funniest thing was the dimple pattern was more akin to old commandos etc with the uniform dots.
I stick to buying from my local pro and buy from him with confidence that he only sells genuine gear.

Thats bad craic - I just want a few balls to ensure I have a good stock - Playing a B330s will hopefully not get any fakes, I have seen several Prov1's thats a bit dubious - and them refurb balls are a total waste of money (plus not legal in qualifing comps)

Just as a matter of interest (as I am not an ebayer), if 2 or more bidders are using this Snipe thing, do they all win? :D :D

From what I remember, Snipe will autobid with about 12 seconds remaining. So wait til' the 5 second mark and you'll outsnipe the sniper

The default bid for Snipe is 6 seconds but you can tune in to whatever you wish.

2nd hand balls.

Why? :D

Whats the point of losing new ones?

I put the question out there not to be annoying but because used balls must have a down side. Maybe not if they've only been hit a few times, but surely a ball loses "condition" (shape, quality of cover etc.) after a few decent hits.

Apparently (and I can't say I know for sure), new balls are close to being perfectly round. I can confirm that this is true, as I have "balanced" some balls recently and fresh out of the sleeve they are near perfect. However, I re-balanced a ball the other day (9 holes played) to re-mark the putting line, and it was in a terrible state.

To be honest Dave I dont really care -You may be hot enough to bash them down the middle on every hole but I don't. I am not striking the ball fantastic and I feel I should use a 2nd hand ball - as long as they are not reconditioned I don't really care - I find my prefered choice great for spin off the driver and super off the putter face. Thus I want these specific balls (B330s) - and I don't want to pay £3 a pop to bash them into the knee high.

If you dont think people should use 2nd hand balls then should we replace a ball every hole - just incase? I think not - simply I want some pearl grade and sopme practice balls so whats the harm?

Point taken. :)

I wouldn't want to pay £3 a ball either....I see where you are coming from.

Thankfully my favourite ball is just under £1.50 :)
