If it ever stops raining we may be able to start thinking about a new season soon.
Anyone carrying any injuries, long or short term..?

My bout of Tennis elbow that curtailed my H4H day to 8 holes is still there, mostly manageable but does flare up from time to time.
Also, my right index finger knuckle...painful to move on occasions, some movements are nigh on impossible but holding a golf club isn't one of thm!m!
Had it X-rayed and examined and there's nothing wrong that modern medicine can determine....still bloody hurts though!
Hopefully both will clear before long...

So.....what aches and pains are doing the rounds..?

I finally went to see a physio about my knackered ankle and have been rehabbing it. It's still not great but I've played a few rounds of golf pain free so I think it's going in the right direction. Hopefully won't need to limp off any golf courses in future!

Today is a strong painkiller day. Everyday is a painkiller day, but today is a strong one. just about climbing the walls today...

Nowhere I'm a finely honed golfing machine

......apart from my right ankle. It's a rugby injury, well rugby related. I fell down a hole in a rugby club carpark. I must confess it wasn't directly after the game, some hours had passed :o

I often go over on it on the golf course, just when I'm walking. It hurts and really ballons up but it's never stopped me finishing a round, but I often need to have a 'moment' after doing it.

Apart from a blocked right kidney, which will need a stent and a Heart Valve that will need replacing in a couple of years and an iffy back that I need to look after...

I'm in rude health and looking to have a much better season than 2015

Watch out Imurg you old crock, I'm after thee :)

How is the back now? I had a bit of an issue pre Xmas, tight hamstrings causing back pain apparently, but I know yours was a bit more serious than that.

syphilis, gonorrhoea, herpes, crabs, I'm a bigger carrier than UPS 😜

Seriously though, I've just got a lump come up on the back of my hand down in the V between my thumb & index finger 🤔

Twist my lower back sometimes. And I have a tendency to come down with a migraine attack directly after a round of golf, which I put down to tension in my neck. Both issues which I encounter away from the golf course as well, sometimes, but which seem to be triggered more often when I play.

Aching back, aching left hip, knackered knees (from playing football) and a touch of tennis elbow in my right elbow at the moment. Apart from those, I am a perfect physical specimen! :)

i think my knee has been well documented on here ,i see the consultant on the 8th feb to see if im going to need another op on it hopefully i will be dodging that bullet.
will i be fit for the new season ?well maybe the second half.

Arthritic right wrist and forefinger causing discomfort moreso when playing tennis than golf. The lower back is creaky and my neck is generally stiff, my right knee is always sore, I have a tendancy for my Achilles to flare up. Other than that I am fit as a fiddle and ready to go if only the course was playable.

I have more injuries and aches and pains than Darren Anderton ever had.

I have Achilles problems in both feet so painful that I cant do more than a very slow jog but then I suffer for days after.

I have really sore hamstrings and glutes and my hips are tighter than a Scotmans wallet.

I have a tight back that spasms often and sets me back a week or so.

I have golfers elbow in both elbows and my right one is very painful at times it sends shots of pain into my right shoulder that is excruciating at times.
Sometimes I wonder how I get out of bed but I am in the gym 4 or 5 times a week at 6.30am.

One of my favourite saying to people who moan about thing is "there is always someone worse off" so I just crack on.

Occasional muscle spasm in my lower back, and i damaged a tendon in my left foot last year, that sometimes flares up,other than that im looking forward to the new season.

Its pretty good thanks, Had 3 prolapsed discs, but the main problem was the one I had operated on about 10 years ago, it popped out the other side and if they had sliced it there would have been no disc left and spinal fusion would have ensued :(

Fortunately I have a magic Osteopath, She is Italian, Gorgeous and as strong as one of Imurgs botty burps, she put me back together :)

Just got to keep doing the exercises

Hope yours is all better

Eeee aye that last sentance could of been me three years ago. And deffo had them moments til the adrenalin kicks in. Lots of tyrets til it does.

1, left ankle now fixed?
2, right ankle weak as chip shop vinegar.
3, old neck fracture.
4, left thumb ? arthritis.
5, Lower back ( went again last night at 3.00 am rocking a four month old baby).
6, feet that feel like they have played in buckets of fire after carrying for eighteen holes. Role on summer and dimple shoes.
7, Left shoulder impingement.
One for everyday day of the week. Enough me thinks.
8, whoa, weakest bladder on the forum.

Apart from that I am a killing machine when holding a Ping driver.
