Where are you spending your new year

Dinner party at a friends for me and the mrs. Can't be arsed with going out wasting money anymore. We've just booked our wedding for July so money will be tight all year.

Home. Big sister arrives from Spain on NYE - she'll get drunk, I won't :-) Then seeing other sister from the USA on the 1st and visiting nephew in prison on the 3rd! Busy few days!!

Home with a nice drop of red and a couple of nice cigars

I brougt some flipping cigars back from cuba in October, cohiba, monte Christo, guantanamera,to flog to the the lads at work, guess what no one smokes um so now am flipping stuck with um. red wine now that's a gud night prefer Italian but French is growin on me.

only worked one New Year's Eve night shift an am still havin flash backs. Wife rang half sozzled to say happy new year, ah cud of throttled her.

had new year in Edinburgh a couple of years ago. The 30th was fantastic walking up to Carlton hill with the torches etc. but New Year's Eve on princess st was the biggest dis appointment I had had on New Year's Eve.

spent about 10 years on the trot in Holland for new years, they still celebrate it better than us with pubs opening for the bells:smirk:
We're struggling big style to find somewhere in Zaandam to have a meal/drink New Year's Eve. Looks like we will be going with the flow an sorting something out when we get there.

everywhere near big cities will be busy unfortunately, I was further south nearer Eindhoven in a pretty town called Valkenswaard  really friendly place with stunning Dutch girls and great pubs:thup:

Working the night shift and enjoying being out of the way. Can't be doing with the Pubs on New Years Eve. Full of once a year Charlies who drink too much Champagne and think that everyone wants a hug at Midnight.... Do one sunshine...

Got a nice day planned on New Years Day though. Nice long walk with the family and the dog. Stop off at the dog-friendly local for a few drinks and some lunch, then walk home, put some logs on the fire and watch a film with the kids...
