Remember when there were boxes of demo clubs for sale wherever you went, have they all been melted down to keep up with the constant renewals of TM clubs :D

I am toying with a shaft change (6.0 rifle to 7.0 , x100 etc ) , but ideally would like to buy a demo club similar to mine to see if the switch is even worthwhile.

Next to nothing on my searches, i can find a similar head and build one myself to trial, maybe my only option,

There seems to be a lot of ping eye 2's, are these furnace proof :rofl:
 
I think they are much rarer now because there aren't s many demo clubs since the advent of fitting carts with iron heads that screw onto a shaft.
 
Most manufacturers have their own fitting carts. That's fine but what if you are looking for a bargain and an older make of iron. Surely there could be a demand for a bag full of usurped models but which are still around

Yes, used to be quite common to find a bag full of ex-demo 6 irons in the corner of most pro shops. Trouble is at about a fiver a time it is just too tempting, and some of us simply can't resist the lure of the shiney...
