Absolutely NOT.
Because when I crush an iron, the ball goes 20 or 30 yards further than I was expecting and ends up way over the back of the green - or even OOB

I used to play forged blades. When you hit the absolute sweet spot it felt like hitting a knob of butter, using a wounding balata ball.
