JohnWT reckons Tiger will beat Nicklaus' record in 2011. That means he's got to win six in 16 Majors. Personally I think it's going to take him longer than that. Think he'll do it - but it will get harder as he's already past his peak and there is bound to be another big name emerging in the next couple of years.

Dont agree he's past his peak - For a golfer mid to late thirties usually creates the right blend of experience and physical power. If Tiger stays injury free and healthy I think he'll average 1.25 majors per year so it will be 2012 for me. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he is quicker than that however.
The opposition just isn't there, Furyk, Singh, Els, Garcia, Scott, Donald just cant get to that next level. There doesn't appeare to be any real 'young guns' on the horizon either.

Have to say GolfDonkey I don't agree that he is past hie peak either...have you seen any golf lately?! The way he held offf all challengers on Sunday not to mention the WGC eight-shotter the week before.

Think he will do it in four years....£10 says so!
