When is the last time you played to your handicap or better ? Mines been a looooong time. One point I was shooting high 70's and low 80's but not for a long time I'm lucky to break 100 ;(

Feel your pain fella, i have been going through a similiar spell resulting in plus 2.2 on handicap, a constant poor round after another a few decent bounce rounds thrown in.
Then i bite the bullet took a few lessons and played to handicap at Hollinwell in october, i was chuffed to bits. Still a lot of wogk to do but maybe get a check over with your local pro?

It was a long time until last Wednesday when I played well below it, although it was a pairs match and my score didn't really count.

Proper test tomorrow in our monthly comp.

It must be said that the weather has been terrible for the past few months so you shouldn't beat yourself up (I'm not).

The only time I have played as bad as my handicap in the last 5 months has been when handing in supplementary or competition card. I've been on fire and every time I show up at the course I am scared!

Today was tough, what is with the ball rolling?

I scored 37 points on Wednesday with a round of 86... We where racing around the course (2:58 was our final time) to get our first midweek after work round in and I never read a single putt which cost me 3 or 4 unnecessary 3 putts.

I'm hoping to greatly reduce my HCP this season but we will have to see what happens.

Played a friendly Stableford round yesterday and picked up 42 points, my best score ever. The public course we had a burn around was playing short with some temporary tees brought forward on some of the holes but the first 9 I was +1 for the course without any handicap. Then I thought about what was happening and the wheels came off for a few holes :D

Full rounds have been in relatively short supply so far this year, probably played 7-8
All bounce games,no qualifiers due to the dodgy weather, and I've been under handicap once, on it once and in the buffer once which for me, at this time of the year, is unheard of..

Last weekend I played 4 shots under handicap, 1 shot under SSS, 2 under CSS and beat second place by 7 shots. I was a bit surprised CSS was only one shot over SSS with so many bad scores coming in.
Just got to do it again next week in the monthly stableford and see if I can get another cut.

yesterday, ind stableford as only 6 turned up for our roll up. 36 points with two blobs off bare feet.

Praying for some rain to wash all that sand in on the greens.
