When to expect an esr?

I know this has probably been done a thousand times, but well,

this place is for chatting

ive not played much competitive golf this year, but have played loads of social. Therefore, I think I'm ahead of the handicap (on a given day!)

last 3 qualifiers have seen a .8 .1 gain and a full 2 shot reduction. If I shoot well on Sunday am I likely to fall into esr territory? And if so, how much under handicap would I have to hit?

You just have to be different up there don't you!

Assuming that par and SSS/CSS are the same.

No esr for me 39 points and css set at 1 under sss. So a .8 cut

felt like I left loads out there. Off the tee was shocking, and a run of 1 pointers from 8-11 put paid to a really good score.

on the upside, chipped and putted well and scored on every hole.

well done on the cut regardless, you still have the opportunity to get an ESR should you shoot -4 CSS in the future.
