Evening all - first post here so big HI to everyone.

Not able to post on the Good /Bad online sops thread so thought I would just ask here if that's OK.

Has anyone heard of (or bought from) www.aclonline.co.uk?

They are selling what they claim are new, genuine Taylor Made gear at literally less than half the prices I can find anywhere else.

Got to be a scam / fake gear surely??

Thanks all

As a follow on, do you guys have any recommendations as to the most price effective place to buy single TM irons? I only want to buy a 5-9 as I have got specialist wedges already and I use hybrids for longer shots than I can manage with a 5 iron (shame on me).
Cheers

Its nigh on impossible to buy single clubs in the UK. Have a look on ebay as that is probably your best bet. Or import them from the US via www.ironfinder.com or www.globalgolf.com

I might have a set of TM R9 irons 4-PW going in the for sale section in the next couple of weeks. Have convinced my other half that she really wants to buy me some new bats for my birthday so just waiting for time to go and try a few out.

Hello and welcome.

If your looking at buying new talk to your pro mine as TM irons marked up individually priced.
Many places will sell 5-Pw anyway so maybe not much more expensive than buying 5-9.

Thanks for all the help guys. I've found a set of the clubs I want at Clubhousegolf.co.uk - the good/bad page lists them as OK, but that was back in 2012. Anyone have some more recent feedback on them?

Never used them, but i have heard good things, they are sound as far as i can see.

What TM irons are you after?

These - looks like a good price as they have been replaced by a newer model now. I have always used small head old school clubs, and I tried a demo single iron of this set a while back when they were over £500. It was the purest feeling strike I've ever known.

My last handicap (currently in between club memberships) was 7.8 and for the last few years I've been using a mixed set of tour head profile CB and MB irons so I am used to the less than forgiving nature of these types of iron!

great choice! you should tap up Homer here, i believe he has a set knocking about, would you consider 2nd hand?

Thats a bargain new though, they are great clubs! I know its twice the price, but have you tried the new version??! i hit them again today, they are awesome!!

Does look a bargain doesn't it?
Second hand I generally have no problem with, although these soft forgings do tend to look worse than they are in my experience. Just basic bag chatter can have them looking pretty ropey!
The new ones in my opinion don't look as well balanced to the eye, but I'm sure they are a step on. I can't afford to get the new set as by the time I've tweaked the shafts if necessary and almost certainly replaced the grips, it'd be too much money. My thinking is I can get this set, fleabay the 3 I don't need and use what monies I get for them to fund new grips etc. Simples.

Clubhouse golf are excellent. Along with Snainton my favourite on line shop.

I'll second that. Clubhouse have a superstore in eccles too.

the bargain to be had is because the latest TP MB have the speed slot in. I have the Cb version great clubs. Enjoy when do they arrive.
