I have recently heard several commentators, players and forum contributors use the phrase "currently gaming...." when discussing what equipment they are using.
It is difficult to finish this post without swearing but that aside, what does this mean? Does it mean "I am currently playing with?" If so, then why not say that?
It just sounds so completely stupid. So stupid that it must have originated in the US. A country that delights in crucifying the beautiful English language.
If you use the word gaming in relation to golf equipment, I would be really keen to know why you do and what it means. I'd also like to see you produce a you tube video of you washing out your mouth with carbolic soap as a punishment but that's probably asking beyond what is reasonable.
Gaming? Give me strength....
