Sorry another question (too much coffee I think )

What is the moment in golf you are most proud of - or your best achievement etc

For me it was last year when I won a comp that was created in memory of my fiancée's grandad who passed away last year. My OH couldn't play as she was injured so I really wanted to win it for her.

Winning the Rabbits Matchplay Championship in 2012. having to win 8 consecutive matchplay singles
to do so I think is an achievement :)

Winning last years Help for Heroes meet, not just because it was my best round ever at a time I was on some form, but because of the brilliant people from the forum who played, and because of what James said afterwards about the charity itself. It will always live in my memory.

and it was on a top course, that was not easy.

Mine is in my signature. Winning playing with a top mate takes a lot beating.

Getting up and down from the back bunker of our 18th green and sinking the putt for a par that finished off 14 pars two birdies and two bogeys to par our course off 15 handicap. They chopped me to 10 in the days before congu.

2011 winning the Irish qualifier for GM Centenary Final & then winning the Final in FoA ..

Will only be surpassed if i break par in a comp or get to Cat 1 .. both a bit away

Probably winning my handicap division and finishing runner up overall on the GM Centenary Finals. Other than that, winning two honour board events at Royal Ascot and three at Wimbledon Common would be the best I've done

I never met my Grandad as he passed away before I was born. In his honour a new cup was introduced at his golf club the 'Frank Pilbeam Cup. I played in it for the first time in April and won it. It's medal and I was four under net. it was also my first individual win.

Oh was it a super course!!

Anyone who doesn't know Smiffy hasn't met a true top guy but you're not so bad yourself Rich!

Winning the Rabbits Chalice in my 1st year at my previous club

Also getting my 1st sub 80 last year.

But, my proudest has to be winning the H4H's trophy at Blackmoor in my first ever GM meet and first time playing a Heathland course.

being told by quite a few forumites that they think there is a golfer inside me somewhere trying to get out. that and not knobbing it on the 1st at wentworth west with lots of onlookers.

Couldn't have asked for two better winners. 'Old' forum stalwarts and decent chaps to boot.

Fortunately I have had many, difficult choice.

Professionally..... The junior section I started from two players improving to a level when 8 players all under 18 years old were chosen to play for the County Men[5] and Women[3] teams one weekend.
Privately....when my daughter captained the England Schools team which included Luke Donald, Simon Dyson and Karen Stupples.
