What's your favourite tournament?

Majors aside, what's your favourite tournament in the professional calendar?

For me it's the WGC Accenture Matchplay, I just love watching Matchplay golf, it's on a great course too, and gives a lovely introduction to the year of golf ahead

Didn't fully read the OP did we?

For me it's the Scottish Open. I used to go each year when it was at Loch Lomond. We had a holiday home just up the Loch and the Pub across the road was packed every night with Caddies and TV people from all over the world.. Those Japanese TV Execs know how to spend money on Whisky...

I went to the Players Championship a few years ago, so when it comes on TV I can imagine being on the course. It's a coin toss between that and the PGA (BMW) for my favourite outside the majors.

Outside of the Majors any match play tournament for me, just don't see enough of it.

The PGA as I go to watch every year (in my golf shoes ) and the Players as I love watching the carnage on 17th when it's a bit gusty

I love the Dunhill - get really close to the players and it's free - used to love Open final qualifying before they got rid of it for much the same reasons.

I like the tournament of champions on at the moment. Signals the start of a new season and looks a nice course with a good few big names. Really like the run now towards the masters, with anticipation growing each week and players looking to find their game going into the big one.

I like the one at Crans, I also agree with Bluewolf, I have enjoyed the Scottish open since its moved to the links.

I used to really look forward to the Dunhill (Scottish one) aswell, but last year I got fed up watching celebrities who get on my nerves.
