what is your pride and joy out of your golf kit?

Is it your driver, old faithful 3wood, your footjoys?

Mine is probably my putter.
whats yours?

Probably my T/M 3 wood ti R5 dual.

A bit tricky off the deck, but oh so sweet off the tee.....

Dave

at this time of year it's my thermal polo shirt :)but usually it's my callaway x hot 3 wood it's like a driver off the ground the best money ive spent since playing golf

Mine are my Orka kii Driver, this added an element to my game that I never had, and my Ping UGLE putter.

Brendy,

C'mon spill the beans about the driver... I've actually thought about that model myself recently. It certainly looks a nice traditional style driver when viewed at address.

What makes it so good?

Has to be my titleist woolly hat in green and navy blue bought from Arkley golf club where an ex pupil of mine was pro; closley followed now by a brushT - I have hardly missed a fairway since I got it (OK only 4 rounds so far!)

Have an old Leyland lob wedge that my granddad gave to me looks like it's been through a few wars but would not change it for anything.

DCB Ok mate for starters, it feels lovely before you even address a ball just gripping it inspires confidence, on the first practice swing I drew the club back and thought I felt a little resistance but on swinging through it felt like it it had a tailwind, strange thing to describe.
Out on the course, I have it set up for straight, the club makes a solid crack when you find the sweet area (most of the face incidentally)My on Srixon has a v2 stiff shaft cut short on the hozzle and an inch added to the butt afterwards and really takes effort and concentration to get the best out of it, the Mizuno/Fujikura is a little softer flex wise (obviously as its not a cut and shut).
Its the first driver Ive seen in a while with full width grooves and for some reason again this makes it feel all the more playable.
An example of the confidence it brings with it, last week playing into the sun I couldnt see its flight but had every confidence that i'd find the ball on the fairway, which I did. The distance Ive regained over my doctored Srixon and the noise it makes over any club Ive owned before, only slightly outdone by the original Biggest Big Bertha, really floats my boat.
Some people might not like the crisp smack it makes, some are more into the cobra crack or the dull carbon headed thump, I think this club will be carried by quite a few pros this coming year.
Im going totake my camera onto the course this weekend and will try to get a couple of soundclips.

Got to be my Ben Hogan APex 56 degree forged sand iron (freebie from the kind soles at GM Towers). For the first time ever I have the confidence to get out of bunkers and be able to control where the shot lands and how much spin is on the ball. It is heavy (ish) in the head but not so much so that it has a detrimental effect on those tricky shots around the fringe.

At the moment my Callaway beanie hat is right up there for keeping my head warm (reeceding hairline doesn't help!!). I love my black/white Hi Tec shoes and always think I at least look the part with those, my black/white stromberg trousers and a decent top/jumper. The old adage about feel good/play good certainly applies

My scotty putter, circa 62 no. 1, and my titleist 905f2 15° fairway (awesome off the tee).

In fact, I love all my clubs.

And my Arsenal pitch mark repairer.

favourite - whichever club I am using when I make a perfect shot - very rare occurrence!

least favourite - trolley/bag combination - the bag keeps twisting on the trolley - bugs the hell out of me (this would also qualify for the 'excuses' thread!)

Just got a heated waistcoat keeps you warm for up to ten hours even has a temp controller 1-5 depending how cold it gets. Got mine for Christmas real must have for winter golfers new product from kozeee
