Following on from the 'bandit' thread where people think high scores are impossible - what is yours?

Mine was 47 points on a lapsed (hadn't swung a club for 12 months) handicap of 12. Admittedly it was Pine Ridge and a society day but I guess I had no pressure of playing well and just swung easy. Chip in for birdie on the 1st set me off in a good mood - double bogey on the easy 18th didn't ruin my day.

45 when I was playing off 24 in the monthly stableford comp

44pts of a [suspect] 19 h'cap...
Possibly the only time I didn't blob at least once...

Next time out, with appropriate cut, 'only' got 37pts but with a couple of blobs...

At the time I was still learning the game and indulged in a lesson before each comp...
Could afford it in them days...

Twice shot 47 in a society. The first time I didn't have a handicap and I didn't know what stableford points were. The society organiser said I should play off 23. I told him I thought that was too high but he insisted. The morning was an individual s'ford, the afternoon a texas scramble. I shot 47 points in the morning and was cut 5 at lunch by the organiser even though he was n my team.

Second time was in the same society with the same organiser about 5 years later. I'd just got my official h'cap of 9 and was playing well. My society h'cap had crept up to 17 and I told him if he played me off 17 I'd win. He told me not to be such a cocky so and so and to play off 17. The result was 47 points, I won by 11.

Officially my best is 43 two years ago in a club comp, I was off 11 at the time and shot a gross 74. It was the 3rd time in 5 days I'd broken 80, two days later in a comp I shot 96!

46 points when playing off 23. Last week I had 42 points and my FC had 46 points playing off 35.5 so she had a whopping 5 shot cut. She has potential and just hadn't avoided a few blobs previously so was great to see her hard work pay off.

I only joined a club and got a handicap this year but 40 points for me.

I came top of my division but didn't win anything as it was as it was a team competition, happy with my first handicap cut though.

My first two ever stablefords were 37 and 41 (I won both), the record was 42 for a +6 gross round of 67 in a scratch comp until I shot 43 points last weekend with 5 over gross 77.

I had 44 points off a 12 h/c in May, then 43 points off 9 last week.

Do I qualify as a cheat?

I'm sure that some would call all of us cheats for scoring over 40 points. .... clueless.
