I am addicted to ebay... there I've said it... it's the first step to recovery they say! ;)

I was wondering what your best and worst golf deals on ebay have been.

I think my best was a brand new (still in factory wrappers) set of Srixon Pro 100 blades, they where blade of the year, and I got them for £300. My local shop was selling them at £699!!!

My worst was probably this week, when I sold a putter. It was a brand new Odyssey Tour putter number 1. The one with the bronze looking finish, and the black and yellow grip, just out for 2008. I payed £99 at the shop. used it once and sold it on ebay for....... £52... damn you ebay... I'm finished with you for ever....

Oh, there's a nice deal....

Footjoy classics at £120 ish, Titleist stand bag (in pink) £58, TM R7 quad (before they were available in the UK) for £215, Scotty circa 62 No2 for £80.

Worst deal, used golf balls, various times I have tried this. Don't bother.

Mine was a Callaway tour bag in reasonable condition for £20 i think rrp was upwards of £180.

Also got FT3 tour driver for £56 only a year old with slight mark to shaft.

Now looking for Callaway Hybrid for less than £40 including the postage.

52 for an almost new Odyssey - ouch.

Bought a Great Big Bertha a few years back when the driver I had at the current time got a shaft split. Think it was about 25 quid.

Other than that, have not bought any other golf items off ebay. Always scouring though... 3 wood & hybrid are still on my agenda, so always examining the prices. Never going to buy off there at the moment though as postage from the UK is a killer. Makes me wonder why I look... I must be an addict too!
