I watched the GP at the weekend and what a great race it was (for 2nd 3rd 4th at least).
But, I saw the interview with Lewis after getting pole position and he was ....shall we say... unmoved.
The hosts were saying he has some underlying issues but they wouldn't or couldn't tell us more.
Is he just being grumpy because he hasn't won for a while or is he going to get attacked by his girlfriend wielding a 9 iron.

Other than that, it was a great old style race with lots of overtaking and cars side by side at 180 mph, just like the old days :). (no jokes please)

Personally, I don't think Hamilton has been the same since Button moved to Mclaren.

Don't know whether there's something between them (a clash of personalities perhaps?) but he doesn't seem the same driver to me as he was when Alonso was there.

Sorry dont agree,Lewis and Alonso didnt get on.
Button and Lewis do.
Lewis is frustrated because he has not got a car thats challenging at all.
Hes a winner, and people will only judge Lewis on how many titles he wins during his career.
Lewis probably didnt get over excited about poll as he knew he wouldnt hold off Vettel
for long, and that proved the case.
I think in an ideal world Lewis would move, however where would he go?
I think hes going to have to ride out the storm and hope Maclaren deliver next year.

While I agree, for the most part, I still believe that Hamilton enjoyed being pushed by Alonso, being a rookie against a well established driver. I don't think Button provides the same challange. Not because he's a bad/worse driver, maybe because hamilton is now established and gets on with Button and didn't with Alonso.

Totally agree with him being a winner and wanting to compete and the car not being upto the test, but you could argure that for anyone else in the sport...... Especially Ferrari.

Yes i suppose your right about the inhouse rivalry between Lewis and Alonso, but also the right
to be Britains no1 is a major factor too.
I think it still comes down to being unable to compete thats getting him down.
