Whats the retail market like for personalised golf gear?

Are you collating this information for any other reason than "just out of interest"? It's just that you're a new member to the forum and you've started 2 threads looking to gauge opinion on very specific issues.

Only reason that I mention this is that if you're trying to do some research, it might be worth doing an online questionnaire and posting a link to it on here- you'll get plenty of replies.

If I've got the wrong end of the stick- apologies! Just trying to help.

I'd take a stab and guess that few golfers buy their own personalised golf gear. I think its far more likely to be a gift purchase
(normally from a non-golfing friend/relation with good intentions & poor judgement) :D

One of the Forum members recently had his kids names engraved on to back of his Vokey wedges. Looked really good. I'm thinking of copying.

I've just recently bought a Callaway Razr Udesign Driver, where it gives you the option to choose your own colour scheme and have something etched onto the underside of the club. I went with Speedy Miller...so I guess that's now personalised.

Good luck selling that on when it starts misbehaving.

A friend of mine owns Personalised Golf .UK if you wish to know anymore details you can PM me. I have no other connection to his business apart from him just being a mate.
