Whats The Most Shots?

Hi guys whats the most shots you can take on 1 hole i always thought it was 10 but on Tiger Woods 08 its 11,i have no idea can someone help me out?

As many as it takes to get in the hole. There's no limit!

Didn't some pro take a 13 at the 17th at Sawgrass in the Player's Championship one year?

Last month my brother was having a cracking round (playing off 12)in the monthly medal, then at the 11th he took 14. End of round!

Computer games will normally set some upper limit to make the game move along. Sadly real life isn't like that and it takes as many as it takes to complete the hole. My partner and I were leading the club foursomes after the first round several years ago until a 12 at the 2nd killed any hope we had

I think T.Bjorn had an 11 fairly recently in the irish Open after drowning several tee shots.
My personal best is a 12 in competition.

According to the interweb, Tommy Armour scored a 23 one one hole (doesn't say which) in the Shawnee Open (PGA tour). Ouch.

A 13 on the 11th at Aboyne for me many years ago when playing off 12hcap, 3 balls off the tee into a howling wind, and finished with a nice 3 putt.

In comeptitive golf, I don't think worse than a 10, but you'll often have given up the ghost long before that in many cases.

Hi ,

I once took 6 balls of the tee, sliced them all into a wood about 10 meters to my left , could not find any and went on to do a par 5 in 26. Felt like throwing the clubs in the bin.
