What's the general consensus on 4-wheel trolleys?

I'm looking to get a new trolley (don't want electric) and this one looks great as an example: -

BUT... I can't help the feeling that it's gonna look like I'm pushing a pram around the course!

Anyone else got a 4-wheel trolley and care to comment? Do you get laughed at? Called "Mum"?

What's the general consensus?

Cheers!

Wasn't there another thread (ask the experts???) about the merits of 4 over 3 wheels? Personally I don't like them despite the additional stability and yes I do think they look like prams. Always had 3 wheel versions and no issues with stability with mine. Small enough to fit in a Fiesta boot with ease

I looked at that trolley instore on sunday but I ended up with the 3 wheel version instead on the advice of the store assistant who reckoned it was just as stable but easier to fold, smaller and cheaper.

There is also a voucher online for 30% off golflocker accessories. Look here - http://www.vouchercloud.com/direct-...cker-accessories-30-off-discount-voucher-code

Used mine twice now and it's great. Perhaps not quite up there with Clicgear but I paid £91 and the Clicgears are £200.

Its a trolley. If you like it and want it, buy it. No need to ask others whether you like it or not. Man up and stand by your decisions...

they look silly - but from a practical point of view they must be a little less manoeuvrable and in some ways less stable - three wheels better than four for tight turning and three legs better than four for stability.

I have a 4 wheeler. Sun mountain microcart. Doesn't look like a pram at all

I wouldn't get either for your place, I'd be buying crampons, stout rope and hiking boots. Anyway, with the kids growing up now there must be a spare push chair you could utilise!
