All the way through my 20s & 30s I eschewed the turkey dinner and always did a curry. However I now can't imagine Christmas Day without Turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings.

I lost most the path of true righteousness but am now happy to have been shown the error of my ways. All hail the turkey dinner!!

Pepperoni pizza for me and my eldest tomorrow lunchtime and pasta with cheese sauce for the youngest. Nothing for Mrs Colch as she's recovering after an operation. Decided to do the turkey on Boxing Day so I don't spend all of tomorrow in the kitchen and can spend the day playing with the kids instead.

Salmon tonight.
Smoked trout, Turkey + trimmings, Chocolate fondants, cheese and port tomorrow.

Bring it on, I am officially at XMASCON1.

Merry Christmas all. :D

I don't like Turkey so we're having leg of lamb and ham. I've just boiled the ham and I'll roast it tomorrow when I do the lamb, loads of veg and roasties with plenty of red wine and a selection of the beers (Tiger/Heineken/Miller) to finish me off!!

Just finished basting the turkey crown with butter, garlic and orange zest. Peeled the tatties, chanteny carrots, honey roast parsnips, yorkie puds, roast tatties, ( the Devils veg) and me world famous sausage stuffing. Washed down with a bottle,of Italy finest Barolo.
