am after a tinkering to take advantage of the sales, currently carry the following:
Driver, 3 wood, 21" Utility, 3-PW, 56&60" Wedge, Putter!

am thinking of getting a 51" Gap Wedge and possibly a 5wood to replace the utility which i struggle to hit. any thoughts?

Driver, 3 and 5 wood, 3 hybrid, 4 to pw, 54 and 58 wedges and a putter.

If you can't get on with hybrid, you may have bought the wrong one, as they are supposed to be easier to hit than a 3i.

Driver 3 wood 4 utility 4toPW 53 58 and 60 wedges messing around with a 27 degree utility to carry on courses with a lot of rough, I took out the 5 wood as it was in or around the 4 utility distance wise i find it the easiest club to hit and mine is a rescue mid tp one of the first to come out not sure if the newer ones are as easy to hit. Keep meaning to change the 58 degree wedge to a 56 but it fits in distance wise between the other 2.

Driver 12 degree
4 wood 18 degree

Hybrid 19 degree

4-pw irons
53 + 58 wedges

and a putter!

As per my signature. The only changes I sometimes make is putting in my Cally Big Bertha 460 in 11 degree loft for very wet conditions as it carries the ball in the air further than my Cleveland. Other than that it is a fixed line up now (after years of tinkering)

I'm a bit traditional....

I always had 3 woods (1/3/5) 9 irons and putter. I added another wedge to this when special wedges became fashionable....to make my 14.

I still do the same, traded the 3i for a 3H and gave up with the blob wedge for a gap wedge, which is necessary for me now the lofts have gone all silly.

Back in the good old days, I played many a round without the 3i, but replacing it with a 2i for tight tee shots. Sadly, this much loved club (original Big Bertha 1995?) has never made it back in the bag, the 3h seems a good compromise for fairway or tee over the 2 or 3 irons.

I have the long and short distances well covered with effectively 3 metal woods and 3 wedges.....

As below, thinking of taking my driver out until I learn how to use it as I cant use it consistently without a massive slice / hook.

See my sig for my bag.

Its now fairly fixed. I have good distance gaps between clubs although I have loaded the short irons/wedges so I've got a club for most scenarios. I can always hit the 4 wood soft if I need a little less distance.

Driver G5 10.5deg NV-65 S
Callaway War Bird 5 Wood. Steel shaft & very old.
Titleist AP2 3-PW
Vokey's 54 & 60 deg
Odysseu 2 Ball

Apart from perhaps changing the 5 wood for a 4 wood, I'm happy.

Oh, and a Custom Fitted 909 Driver perhaps. ;-)
