Just wondered what you guys are listening to these days.

My favourites at the moment, In no particular order.

Adele, 19……amazing voice.

Elbow, the seldom seen kid……….I’m glad I got this before the mercury award.

Amy McDonald. This is the life………deserves more credit.

Cash, American 3 and 4………For a dying man there's some amazing covers with real emotion in these two albums.

Seasick Steve, Started out with nothing………just shows you it’s never too late.

Don't go much for a lot of the modern stuff. I've got Red Hot Chilli peppers, Jeff Healey Band, BLue Oyster Cult and Thin Lizzy in the car at the mo. Also listening to Jack FM - Oxford based station who don't seem to care who they upset and they play some good stuff

Armin Van Burren- State of Trance and loads of Sander Van Doorn have been on my cd player for a while probally not much interest on here though

Elbow’s been going for about 18 years. Seasick’s about 66 odd years old and Cash has gone.

Hey Tomo - not argueing about these, just that I don't go a bundle on some of the more modern music. heard Seasick the other day and he's the man!

Currently into the vines, muse, dave matthews band, and AC/DC. Still love BOC though. Not got enough of it on the old pod, so may be need to get some this year.

Into a pretty decent group from York called Mostly Autumn at the moment. Other than that:

Fish
Marillion (Fish vocals)
Marillion (Season End - only Steve Hogarth album I like)
Genesis
Rush
Pink Floyd
Who
Queen
Kaiser Chiefs
Snow Patrol
Take That (Gary Barlow writes some catchy tunes!)
Robbie Williams (keeps HID happy)
Arctic Monkeys

Radio wise I listen don't really listen too much as most of the local stations (Capital 2-10 etc) only play chart hits and Absolute (formerly Virgin) have gone downhill.

I like Leonard Cohen, but mostly I play Jellyroll Moreton, King Oliver, Sydney Bechet et.al from 1920s - 1940s. I bought this sort of music when I was about 14, and I'm still playing it. Any trad jazz from that period is OK with me. Never bought a record since.

Kings of Leon last 2 albums, also I found my old OutKast and Faithless albums which are good but not as good as the Basement Jaxx album I dusted off - Kish Kash, simply superb!!!!!

Currently have Nickelbacks second to last Album in the car along with, shinedown and a few random compilations. Just put Dido on the Ipod too.
