As the Kirkland balls are heading to the UK (apparently) in the new year, either a lot of golfers will be singing up to Costco, or they'll be buying on eBay where I assume someone will stock them up and sell them on.

Question is, knowing they retail in Costco for £24.99 for 24, would you pay more than that?

What if they were online for £19.99 for 12?

I have a Costco membership, so shall be buying a few packs when they first get released.

Dont think I would pay more until I have tried and tested them. As a high handicapper I am not sure if they will be best suited.

Are you doing a bit of market research to see how much you can flog them on for Adam?

No Costco in northern ireland so will see what people say about them before i have a search online! Don't normally buy new balls as I used to lose quite a few, but as my handicap comes down it may be time to invest

Why bother, so many decent balls to be had for a good price. Not sure a no name cheapo ball will do wonders for anyones game

Golf Ball market is too busy and too competitive. People will end up going back to their favourite brand and ball after trying these. Certainly don't see them being a product you could sell on at much of a mark up.

If they are any good, and I understand they are then £1 per ball will be hard to beat. The ball just as to be as good, not better at that price.

I can't see there will be much profit to be made for eBayer's with these balls. Everyone will know what Costco charge for them. By the time you buy them in, pay fees and postage when you resell them I can't see you will be left with much. At £19.99 you would only be making about £1 - £1.50 per box You would need to charge at least £25 per box to make it worth it.

I would say that less than 5% of golfers in the UK are even aware of them right now. Maybe 10% of those will bother to buy them, and most will go back to their trusted ball after 1 bad round with them (all golfers have to blame something other than their swing!).

They're probably going to limit stock per customer initially, so maybe a quick buck to be made if you can somehow get hold of a significant number of boxes. But even then it would be minimal IMO. There's a far, far, simpler way to make money online but this probs isnt the place to be discussing that!

These golf balls have not been advertised yet have been incredibly popular in USA. They crash the Costco website whenever they get back in stock and sell out on the day when in store. This is several months after they have been released.

I can't see why it would not be similar in the UK.

golf deport were doing callaway hex chrome and the AD333 tour for 12.50 a dozen. i'd sooner have either of those.

Add to that the costco joining fee and that my nearest is a 40 mile round trip.. its just not worth it.

These balls are going to be in direct competition with Vice Pro's right?

Think they are both just 2 piece balls are they not?

if they sell them on the website for say £30 for 24 delivered id pay that just to avoid going out lol
