A flashy website?
Famous people endorsing the product?
Pretty girls/boys draped over the product?

I'm only asking as my website apparently needs upgrading badly.
My website gives info on what the V-Easy is, what it does, how it works and how to buy one.
There is a video with a tour golfer using it (couldn't get Rory) and a little on the background/history with a few photos thrown in.
Now, while I agree, it could to with a revamp, would it really make much difference to you the customer?
I know I dont buy something because of all the flashy stuff mentioned above but then I'm not in advertising.
So would you buy a product because of slick adverting or would you buy it on it's own merit and word of mouth, despite a crappy website.
PS I am going to give my site a revamp but I'm not very good when it comes to anything artistic so if anyone wants to volunteer to help me give it a polish........... :)

Customer testimonials / reviews work well bob, I want to read what people like me thought of a product before I buy it.

+1 on that, and a good demonstration video or clear instructional articles showing the product's full potential or benefits. Possibly a recommendation from a "name", though that would depend on the "name" and how genuinely they come across regarding the product. As for the eye candy, no thanks, does nothing for me on a product retail site, I personally think it detracts from the validity of the product if you have to resort to that.

A polish and creating some fervour/passion/excitement when reading is all you really need Bob as you have the foundations......

99% of cars are the same ie 4 wheels, gears, windows, seats and get you from A to B ...........but they focus on the 'feelings' 'potential' 'looks' blah blah :whoo:

It's all to do with the modern look, not necessary the wording

I've looked at some websites that are filled with out of date info, pics of people with mullets and wearing shell suits etc

If anything, just a new look on the site to freshen it up and gives it that relaunch feel

EDIT - get rid of the yes golf info and mix it up with photos of other brands. Then get onto said other brands explaining that you and yes golf have parted and would them to fill the void. He'll, get golf monthly to endorse it

Head down the practice greens with a few of the lads and get some photos of you showing them how it works and get them on the site

If you do find another partner that sells putters, organise link-buy deals where if someone buys from your site they get a discount off their putters. They could buy that putter and v-easy from your site, your order the putter for deliver to said customer and get few few more pennies for that too

If you could get some mop-haired Irish lad to start using it just before his game deteriorates to mush in the full glare of publicity. Seems to be how the big boys do it.....

I haven't looked at your site bob, so apologies if you have them, but short videos of the various ways to use would be good. Use this to show the ease of use, the flexibility. Maybe have some 'wrong way' vids to show the bad shots people can work on correcting..

An endorsement from a 'name' would be great but not essential. Maybe get a local young pro to do some vids too?

Customer reviews mainly...

I think the site just looks a little bit old fashioned and (don't shout at me...) amateurish. It needs cleaner lines imho as way too much colour and different text, bold text, large text going on. Strip it back to the basics of black on white and then look again at a colour scheme that you use throughout the site. Try to build a sort of corporate image that is maintained on every page...

I agree, hence my post saying maybe get a local young pro in his twenties to do some videos? Modernising and making practice 'cool' if you will...

You really need to get to the bottom of your pocket, blow out the lint and get a handful of money together and put it in the hands of a real Tour Player, the kind that doesn't need the money (As if any of them do!) but will advertise putting snot on the grip if they get enough wonga to say it helps.
Just look at the crap that is endorsed. Rubber bands on the wrist that let negative ions out..What tripe! Poulter using a laser, Yeah course he does. Westwood wears Dunlop, never recall seeing him in Sports Direct of a Saturday afternoon with his big black carrier bag in his trackie.
No pal, you need a spoiled pampered pooch off the tour. A few times on the putting green at the Open and you will be a millionaire. People will buy anything a Top Tour player endorses whether it works or not.

How about getting people like mark crossfield to do a video review? People like him have a huge following and people will buy stuff he likes!

I've emailed him but got no reply.
Even tried phoning him........"he's out teaching"

So a young trendy website is what I need.
How do you spell Gangnamm?
;)

Mark Crossfields stock as just plummeted in my book,he's obviously too "Big time" to reply to emails.
You could try getting Sophie Horn on board,I'd buy a sink plunger if she was endorsing it.

Maybe some of the LET players like Jodi Ewart Shadoff , Holly Clyburn or Charlie Douglass - sure I've seen a twitpic of Charlie using one or something similar..

According to his twitter he is on holibobs, but keep trying bob! I would get in my car and personally deliver one to him if it were me.

Have you looked at the licensing model again? I know you had a bad experience with YES! But surely it's an option still and an easy life with royalties?

Book a lesson with crossfield then spend the hour selling the v-easy......you can't even email him now:rolleyes:

Also use tw@tter and Faceache to contact him..........

P.s calling him and telling the people running interference your from the bank always gets you through, then politely apologise for the subterfuge and sell sell sell
