What will they next?

We have had the maximum 460cc traditional shape, square, triangle,hexagonal and now they are even flattening the drivers,is there anyone out there going to have a guess whats going to be produced next? Even the balls, they keep producing equipment that is supposed to be better than the previous, is there a limit to all this ?

Not as long us us mugs keep buying the stuff.
I thinks any improvements nowadays are miniscule and probably won't help us amateurs any, even if we believe they will!

i think they`ll go back to traditional shaped drivers..iit happened with irons ,they tried oversize etc now look at mizuno-there all going towards blade type irons as they had 20years ago,things have gone full circle as will the drivers.were doomed mr manering!!

Next will be the legalisation of gadgets. They're getting close now with GPS built into trolleys and watches, next into carry bags. GPS has the facility for range finding (it's only a few lines of software) and I'm sure losing another Ryder Cup will see the US pressing for the US Navy (they control the GPS satellites) to give them access to the sub-metre accuracy.
Of course knowing where you are and where you want to be is no guarantee of getting there if you hit as I do.

Some sort of bolt on suit, made by Nike, which has shape memory properties to guide you into the perfect swing plane. Might even have a big dial on the back, so you can dial in a fade or a draw.
