What will my handicap be ?

Have submitted my 3 cards what roughly will my handicap be I scored

99 on par 72 with a 9& 8 on 2 par 4's

117 on par 71 with 2 9's on par 4's

86 on par 68 2ith 2 6's on par 4's

Can anyone give me an indication of what would be my hcap and how you work it out ?

You need to know the standard scratch score for each of the rounds, but I thought handicap cards all had to be from the course you've joined and want the handicap from.

Your handicap will be the best of the 3 rounds, after scores have been rounded to nothing higher than double bogey, but its then the difference between that and scratch, not that and par.

From the information provided, no.

To work it out, you need to round every score down to a double bogey at worst, sum that up for the round then take away the SSS of the course (usually found on the scorecard). It should then be the best of the three cards.

The 86 looks the best of those.

Add 18 to the difference between Par and SSS for the tees used.

Calc is as others have posted. And I agree re home course/club. 3 courses at the same club? Or are you merely establishing a start handicap for the likes of Golfshake etc.

Was told I could 3 cards in from wherever as for the SSS they are as follows there are two courses where I play and the the third card was from Forest of Arden.. I am away for a week so wont get my actual hcap just intrigued what it might be

From those cards It will be 18, but unofficial to be an official
Congu handicap the 3 cards would have to be all around your home course.

Best card with nothing more than a double is your 3rd round which should give you a handicap of 18.
