None of the above, for me it's a chip off a bare lie. Closely followed by a chip off a good lie :o

I can answer this very specifically, the bunker shot of of the bunker to the left of our 15th, it terrifies me. Aside from that, I'm not scared of any shot

Not "scared" of any shot

But the one I would think about the most would be from a bare lie over a bunker onto green

On the list bunker play has a lot to be desired at times, so a plugged lie would worry me. Never played an island green sure with my accuracy that would worry me though.

However overall I probably most dislike those bunker shots that aren't green side but aren't fairway bunkers either, so about 10-20 yards short of the green.

None of the options offered by the poll.

For me it's ball below feet in heavy rough where I'm attempting to move it forward a distance. Because faced with this I fear that just of late then it's an ugly Barclays 9 out of 10 times.:mmm:

Struggling with short delicate chip and runs at the moment - not sure why but thinning everything so taken to some inventive alternatives - anything to avoid a chip and run. Chippers are even looking viable additions to the bag at the moment .......must resist.........must resist!

At least I have all but eliminated the fear of 100 - 40 yard pitches

Quite scared of the 250 yard drive so try to stay well under that as much as I can

But from the options I went for flop shot (in particular a high flop) I'll be looking at other options to get the ball on the green

me too, though not quite as bad as a couple of years ago...nowadays I occasionally make reasonable contact wheras then it was a case of duffing every single one. bizzarely that was the season I reached my all time lowest exact handicap

Fairway Bunker - play a sensible club and there's no problem- something like an 8iron for me

OB Right - it's maybe happened a couple of times in the last few years, not a biggie

OB Left - rarely see the LHS of the course

Pressure Tiddler- what pressure?!

Over Water - be sensible and there's nothing to fear

Island Green (If you've played on one) - not played one, closest thing probably the 16th at pumpherston

Flop Shot - great fun, but only to be used when absolutely necessary, pretty decent record with these considering my short game skills

Long Hay - not much fun if it's muirfield thick, but if it's possible to shift it I will

Plugged Bunker Shot - fairly straightforward, may need to adjust expectations

Out the Trees/Recovery - highly skilled through experience...

Out of the options I've gone with fairway bunker..... but the two shots that get me going are 1) chip off a bare lie if I need to get over something 2) needing to play a cut

After a review of my stats over the last four rounds, most of my misses have been left, 35% !

more pulls than a claypigeon shoot ! short irons too, had a 9 iron into a par 3 last sunday, missed 30yds left
