what most forgiving ap2 gap or vokey 50 degree, just think of what would be best to have in the set the vokey 50 or matching ap2 gap wedge

If I was buying a set then I'd go for the matching wedge.

If your worrying about forgiveness in the wedge then I'd steer clear of the set. The 4/5 irons will be a lot harder to hit than the wedge.

i just know my vokey 50 degree is super club and think it will take some beating to find a better club, dont want to make a 100 pounds mistake but i like a matching set

Eh? Wedge forgiveness? A wedge is a wedge is a wedge. If you rate your vokey that highly, why even entertain the idea of changing??

Exactly as the poster above has said - it's a GW , you shouldn't be worrying about forgiveness , if so then I question why you are spending a lot of money on the AP2's

I think you have answered your own question

More importantly, isn't 50 too close to the ap2 PW? Unless the lofts have changed since the originals I have then 47 degree PW is too close IMO.

Edit: Never mind. Was curious so looked into it. The PW loft has strengthened since the 2008 model. 714 PW is 46 degrees vs 47 degree original.

I'm confused as to why he even asked it

I have the ap2 gap wedge and prefer it over the vokey 50 I had. It spins well flight is a little higher and I can hit it further than the vokey. A great club the GW IMO. But as I've now swooping to i20s I want to get the gorge wedges. My gw is the old type ap2 but still go for £50 as quiet hard to come by so when I sell my ap2s after Xmas I will sale the gw separatly

No issue with people starting a lot of threads but this one seems to be asking "i've got a vokey wedge which I love and will take a lot of beating, should I replace it?" which seems like a daft question to me.

That probably goes for 90% of threads started, the point of a forum is to get help and advise from other members, What are you trying to say i can not start threads now and just do google search. I feel that your post adds nothing at all to the question asked and please do not post on here if you can not add anything of value. Your post count is 2000 plus and personally a lot of the is talking rubbish like you have just done on my thread but i did not feel the need to point that out but i will from now on

If you're after a forgiving wedge look no further than Ping.

If you read my comment I'm NOT suggesting that you don't post anything. Quite a few of the threads you have started are basically just asking for information that you can find out for yourself on google. Sure there is a lot of knowledge and advice to be gained on here and we are all happy to share it but a lot of information can be found quickly and easily by searching the web.

Ok but i have looked at some of your threads and the same goes for yours. People in glasshouses should not throw stone!! did they teach you that in private school?
