what is the most forgiving driver you have ever owned? Just a quick question mine was my old ping g15 12 degree

Mine was a Cobra SZ370

Shame it was on the hot face illegal list - it went a mile too

really miss it now I think about it...damn those rule changes :angry:

Just picked up an Adams Fastspeed 11 - 9 degree with a Voodoo shaft. The thing is an absolute animal, and very forgiving. It's knocked the Titleist out of the bag.

I think it has to be the Taylormade 2007 burner with the stock shaft.

Thinking of changing up soon to either a SLDR or Black R1 but only if either of them win the bake off.

Gutted that I didn't get the invite to the SLDR fitting as the timing would have been pretty good.:(

Not owned one but I've hit the G20 a few times and that has to be up there with the most forgiving ones.

Cobra 440sz hi-core 9.5. now illegal, soooooooo so sad.
If you bought a brand new car and a year later you were told you could not drive it anymore because someone said it was illegal . there would be hell to pay . But not with golf clubs seemingly
.:mad::angry::eek:

Hit one of these before the hot faced list came into effect with an ex-KJ Choi's shaft in it (early Matrix). It went 50 yards further than my bog standard Cobra - in fact into some gunge that I'd never considered avoiding! Hit another recently though - owned by a 'social' golfer - and it was nowhere near as long as the G15 I was using at the time. So technology has changed since those days.

Most forgiving - and longest - was an Integra 650 back in the 'anything goes' days. Most forgiving on current rules was probably the G15 w Serrano (low torque) shaft.

Taylormade '09 Tour burner.

Cracking club.

this one - seemed to play a gentle draw from just about anywhere off the clubface, all day long, with a nice even trajectory.

(and the answer to the obvious was that I have a poor/hurried transition at times and the regular shaft in this one didn't react well to my weakness....I now have another burner with a heavier & stiffer shaft that covers better for my flaw - but the clubhead isn't as forgiving)
